In our hectic, modern daily lives, we now have little time to reflect and take into account the world around us. So many things that must be accomplished before noon, bills to be settled, shopping to do, folks to meet, deals to close and so on. Our world is a fragile place, but over the years, for hundreds, if not 1000′s of years, we have habitually abused and exploited the place we dwell and the beings that we coexist with.
We know that it is very important to strike a stability on the planet, so that every little thing from crops, animals and human beings can progress and develop together, however we’re in such a rush, as we take care of apparently more pressing daily issues. Conservation is more than just a word, it is a topic that affects all of us who live on the Earth. Simply put, we need to respect the other forms of life that reside on this planet, and use the Earth’s resources in a wise and respectful manner.
As we seem like at the top of the animal kingdom our tasks are maybe that much greater to learn and perceive how this should best be done. The Earth’s resources are finite, I believe we might all agree on this point. The various nations across the world seem to be slowly waking up to the truth that we must all work collectively, and something must be done so as to make sure the survival of mankind and indeed the world we reside in.
Global warming appears to be an vital modern issue that must be addressed as quickly as possible. The weather hints at a change of climate and scientists give studies of the arctic polar regions decreasing in size| and elevating the sea levels| across the world. Much less air pollution and cleaner environment friendly methods to produce power appear to be good possible solutions to combat this problem.
The respect for other animals that share the planet with us, might be as important to our personal survival, as it is for the thousands of different species. Tigers and Rhinos are currently at risk of extinction due to the unlawful poaching of their body parts for numerous ancient medicines and Chinese aphrodisiacs that may be offered for a lot money in certain countries.
In conclusion, we maybe must take a step back and look around at the world we live in, and to lift up our heads and see the place we are running to, if not for ourselves, then for our children and their well being.
