A special note about Fear and Power

Fear causes 90% of us to fail.  It’s been scientifically proven.  If you would like to be one of the 10% who make it — this can be very useful:

It’s a scientifically proven fact (control group verified) that fear alone causes 90% percent of investors to lose money. Maybe you don’t care about investing, but you sometimes wonder why things in life haven’t gone your way more often. While fear is a life-force crippling element, is it really fair to blame it for preventing you from overcoming all the shortcomings you wish to overcome? Can you blame fear for blocking you from manifesting and materializing that which you want most? Sure you could…but would that change anything? I don’t know what your experience is with this, but from personal experience, my answer is blaming fear won’t change anything.

As the case with many of us, there was a time I was more than casually interested in learning the secrets of the mind and understanding why things are the way they are and how our state of mind impacts things, so I could change what I didn’t like about my life. This quest (seeking) led me down many roads. Some of the things I personally studied included NLP, Hypnosis, Breathing Techniques, and much more. I’m sure that in the course of your life you have been curious enough to do your own investigating and searching too, of course, on your own terms.

One of the most powerful “tools” I came across in my quest for usable knowledge was a 32-week course, providing specific instruction for various activities or exercises that you could do using just the power of your own mind. One of my favorites was correlating though to physical sensation. The idea was that different thoughts would elicit different physical sensations within your being.

To give an example, you might be able to think about something that has happened (or is happening) in your life that elicits fear. Thinking about something scary, whatever that may be, you might be able to notice specific physical sensations that go along with fear, or being scared. Once you have taken note of the feelings (physical sensations) that go along with fear, you could then shift your focus, or thoughts in your mind – and think about something that you’re certain, or confident about. It could be anything, even your conviction that the sun will rise up and illuminate the sky tomorrow, even if the light is above the clouds.

For this to be effective you could choose anything you feel completely certain about in your life, even a past event and simply notice the physical sensations that go along with being confident. You mind may have even pulled up thoughts, memories – even feelings that went along with fear and/or confidence.

One of the objectives of this practice (which was called “Polarities“) was to get to the point where you were able to simply elicit a feeling, or emotion without the use of thought and at your own will – then take yourself through feelings of your own choice. The purpose of this practice was to “break up” some of the automatic patterns we unconsciously fall into – often patterns that prevent us from getting to the places we’re told ourselves we wish to go. The idea was that once you broke the life pattens holding you back from what you really want, you were in a neutral state, free to pursue your dreams without being held back by the powerfully destructive repetition of your worst thinking.

Before I continue, let me ask you something: Have you ever though about what your life might be like in a perfect world? I know some of us have decided to give up on on dreaming because life seems to have a cruel, unusual and frustrating way of smashing your dreams and presenting a harsh reality. What if it wasn’t like that anymore? What if your mind ran wild free and unobstructed to dream about everything you once wished you were, or could see, touch, have, feel and live? What would you do if you could do anything you wanted – and it worked out? If you’ve ever been a dreamer then you know how good it feels to think about how life would be if ___________ (you fill in the blank with your desires).

There was a reason I didn’t complete my though on Polarities before asking you if you’ve ever dreamed – and it’s to make an important point. Let’s say for a moment, that you succeeded in letting go of the habitual thoughts, feelings and actions holding you back from your dreams and succeeded at getting your mind into a neutral space where it didn’t object to visions you had – didn’t resist what you chose to feel.

Where would you be?

Even though that might seem like a trick question, it isn’t. In fact, I already gave the answer away. You would be in a neutral space, right? If you were in a running car, stopped at a red light and you took your foot off the brakes, what would happen? — and not so fast with your internal dialog…

If you were in neutral, nothing would happen (if the land was flat) – but if you wanted to move forward you would have to make sure the car was in drive and you had your foot on the gas. To me, materializing your dreams, having mental freedom to do so and harnessing the type of internal power needed to make it happen operate using a similar mechanism. When you are focusing on thoughts or ideas that you can think of as fears, they expand, filling your mind, painting your reality and holding you back. When you move into a space that allows you to let go of that stuff, you become free – suspended in an area where you have choice instead of restriction. But when you set your mind on that which you wish to materialize and experience in your life, take your foot off the brakes, put your mind in “Drive” and give it gas, you have a new focal point, and in turn, your life takes a new direction.

Many people would think of this as a goal. There have been many books written about goal setting and manifesting or materializing (realizing) your goals. Some give theory and others provide well coordinated, carefully thought out step-by-step directions so you can more easily make it happen. Personally, I prefer direction from a source that I trust because they have made it to where I wish to go, especially when it’s how-to advice. My friend whom I’ve known and been close to for over 11 years, Bob Newman is one of the people I value advice insight and inspiration from.

People who know Bob feel he is a natural leader. Bob is a man who faced his fears and embraced adversity and the unknown as he built a large business from scratch and sold it. His secret to success was using the set of principals he now shares in his book “Change Through Power” (along with George Sayour) to build his company on. Bob is so certain and confident the principals in “Change Through Power” can change the course of your life, much like it has done for him, that one of his missions is to share unconditionally. That is why this website exists. You can download your copy of Change Through Power, here, right now on our download page, for free.

Change Through power of less than 5x as long as the message you just read and filled with direct, easy to follow simple action steps that can change your life, if you choose to take initiative.

So…in closing, I personally dare you to download your copy of “Change Through Power” and apply the principals contained within for the next 30 days of your life.  Could you dare to make your dreams come true? I know I am!

Namaste,
