George Elias Sayour grew up in South Florida, with parents and grandparents who instilled in him the values of faith, family, integrity, hard work, and determination. Relying on these principles, he did well in school and went on to study Mechanical Engineering at RPI, Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in Troy, New York.
Upon graduating, George accepted a job with Procter and Gamble in Pennsylvania. Within a short time, he was placed on the high-profile projects and traveling the world for P&G. He once again realized that the principles he had learned while growing up were helping him to achieve his goals.
But then something happened. He lost his way and forgot about what was important. It started to become all about the work. George grew distant from the people in his life and from God in whom he trusted. After a couple of years of little personal or spiritual fulfillment, George walked away from his successful career as a mechanical engineer and manager, in an effort to reconnect with his faith, family, and friends.
He moved back to Florida, closer to family, and became a high school math and physics teacher. Soon George was named Teacher of the Year and promoted to Director of Admissions of the school. He also took on other roles such as Faculty Faith Sharing Leader, Student Retreat Leader, and Student Life Group Leader.
It was through this experience that George realized the principles still worked, but that in order to truly be happy, your goals must be aligned with your values. That is why the “P” in P+O+W+E+R is so important to George, as getting your priorities right guides the rest of the process. George believes that this Power we have is God working inside and through us.
Since writing his first book, Plans to Prosper You, he has had many doors opened, including the opportunity to work with Bob. As a team, Bob and George are focused on helping people through projects that teach others to achieve their goals, live a balanced life, and use their gifts to help others.
On a personal level, George is happily married to his high-school crush, Susan. In 2007 they had their first child, Adam. In his spare time, George writes and speaks on topics that help people discover God’s plan for their lives and on what Jesus means to him.
